Why the Power Enterprise Grommet "Heavy Metal Gasket"
is the #1 choice in the NHRA, 24H Endurance Race, Time Attack, WRC, Japan Domestic Rally, Asia Pacific Rally, D1GP & JGTC.
This Is the only gasket in the world, Seals 1400 HP engines without
deforming the Aluminum head surface and It does not blow even when engine knocks !! It seals 14,220+ psi of gas pressure while perfectly seals oil & water. 100% made in Japan.

And this is not a Copper, Copper with "O" ring, MLS Bead type nor MLS Stopper type gasket. We accept any challange to compare OUR head gaskets versus ANYONE elses in the world.

Power's Head Gaskets is not just utilizing the MLS technology, but integrating the most Advanced Technology In The World of Multi Thickness Spring Stainless Layered and full Grommet technology with Nitrile and Molibdenum fusion to the surface of gasket to supports 1400+hp and to improve the coolant flow, diminishing the "hot spots"

Private Label Productions Welcome, Limited to Engine Builders, Gasket makers and Race Teams
1. This is the only gasket in the world designed to improve the water flow efficiency.
We design and manufacture our products, as if they were only for OUR race cars. DON'T chance your newly built engine on a product that might or should work. OURS works and we have 1400hp to prove it!
2. Each sealing areas, gas, oil and water are calculated for proper pressure
3. Strong against scrubbing during heat expansion (Using Molibdenum Bonding)
4. NBR(Nitrile) pre-production fuzing for better Oil/Water seal on rough surface, not an inferior fluorine rubber (FKM, fluorine Viton) post production spray coating

5. It does not deform the aluminum surface as it does with stopper type gasket.

Power head gaskets are specially designed to generate faster water flow than stock. All other aftermarket companies cannot honestly make this claim, which is the main reason we are the #1 choice for many WRC and GT race teams
*Note: The Perfect seal must balance the 2 different forces, one at the edge of the cylinder wall (gas seal) and the second at the water & oil sealing. Power's unique design allows the gasket to seal evenly throughout the head, thus greatly reducing the chance of any head warp-age. In contrast, the stopper type of gasket where the primary sealing area may be secure, but at the extreme cost of deformation of aluminum surface and cooling inefficiency (which leads to excessive heat and head warp-age). Power has perfected the element of having bulletproof primary and secondary sealing capability that is second to none.

Power Enterprise gaskets are INFUSED, NOT coated, with Molybdenum (A hard, silvery-white metallic element that resists
corrosion and retains its strength at high temperatures. It is used to harden and toughen steel and to make high-temperature
wiring). Lateral movement (scrubing due to heat expansion) is inevitable with an aluminum head, even with the most advanced race engines. In addition to being infused with Molybdenum the gaskets are also coated with NBR (Nitrile, a soft compound for greater sealant effect on rough surface) which is far superior in chemical resistance and sealing. While FKM (cheaper not as long
pliable) is widely used by other leading gasket makers. All Stopper-Type Gasket are flawed by design. Stopper-Type Gaskets
are hard throughout the gasket making them only efficient at the primary seal. When a Stopper-Type Gasket is torqued down it forms unwanted grooves at the edge of the cylinder wall and concave grooves where the head meets the engine block. This uneven seal results in good primary seal but extremely poor sealing through the water jackets causing poor cooling properties. Sealing the head securely AND evenly will decrease the chances of catastrophic failure.

Facts on the Power's True Grommet Metal Gasket.
1) 14,220+ psi of gas pressure rated, it shuts extremely high pressure gas cause by knocking. Fuel burns at high temperature of more than 2000 degree celsius and the gas pressure of 120-150 kgf/c instantaneously in a combustion chamber of a high powered turbo engines. Under these conditions, a cylinder head gasket must shut off combustion gas completely and the same time seal oil and coolant. A special grommets in Power Heavy Metal Gasket are designed to create a surface pressure (a pressure against gasket and head and cyliner surface) of 800-1000 kgf/c to withstand a gas pressure of 14,000+psi. It seems to be a "over kill" but Power's gaskets are made "warry free" for the world's top engine builders for many races with single gasket.

2)
The surface pressure of
800-1000 kgf/cm2 is the highest pressure recommended for OE aluminum heads without deforming the structure of the head. Other leading maker's stopper type multi layer gasket creates excessive 1400kgf/cm2 only on the edge of the cylinders, resulting in deforming the surface of head & block and loosing the surface pressure around water & oil holes due to uneven sealing pressure. To have perfect Oil and water sealing on the 15 to 20 micron surface, it requires minimum of 50kgf/cm2 ( 711psi) surface pressure around the holes with an excellent elastomic substance to fill the rough surface.

3.
It does not require additional head bolt torque. We absolutely do not recommend the additional head blot torque anyway. The Power's gaskets are engineered to maintain the proper surface pressure with car manufacture's specified torque that is calculated for preventing the Head & Block Deformation.

4.
"Heavy Metal Gasket" improves the coolant flow far better than the stock; eliminating the "Hot Spot" by differentiating the water hole sizes of the gasket at each locations. This is the Power Enterprise’s unique invention and it is highly recognized by the top WRC and GT teams. Note: The Power's Heavy Metal is the only gaskets in the entire industry designed for better water flow.

5.
It supports 1400HP turbo engine's extreme gas pressure of more than 180kgf/cm2 (2560psi) + extremely high gas pressure of nearly 10,000 psi applied by engine knoking during high boost conditions.

6.
Using a combination of two different thickness 0.2 and 0.5mm of highest heat resistant spring stainless material with NBR fuzed prior to cutting into shape, not a splay coating after the production.

7.
The surface of the "Heavy Metal Gasket" is fuzed (Chemical Bonding) with 15-20 microns (0.0006 inches) Nitrile Rubber know as NBR. NBR is far superior in sealing against petroleum, chemical and water than FKM (fluorine rubber, including VITON). The FKM material which commonly used in majority of leading metal head gaskets today for the purpose of lowering the production cost. Splayed FKM, due to lack in elasticity, will not seal rough surface and easely peel off from the surface of gasket during heat expansion.

8.
Grommet area withstands against friction or scrubing between the head & block during the metal expansion. The surface of the gasket is fuzed (Chemical Bonding) with Molibdenum substance.

Thermal Expansion
when the engine overheats, or normally heating up to a proper temperature, the heat cause expansion of metal, called thermal expansion. Each different materials expands different rates. This is especially true with aluminum cylinder heads because its thermal expansion rate of two times as much as cast iron. The difference in thermal expansion rates cause the "scrubbing," where the head gasket can be torn resulting in loosing surface pressure in critical areas. This is one of critical time for inferior gaskets fails.
Power gasket is bonded with Moribdenum substance to protect the surface of gasket from scrubbing during the heat expansion.

How to select right size of gasket:

Standard of Gasket bore vs. piston size

Piston OD + 1.0mm to 2.0mm. The most of car manufacture design the gasket size
to be 1.5mm to 2.0mm larger than the piston OD
Caution:
Do not overlap the tip of gasket and champher area

(See the picture on the left)

Compression Ratio Changes by the thickness:

Example:
86mm stroke engine with 9:1 compression ratio can be reduced to 8.6:1 by adding the head gasket thickness, approx. 0.56mm.

Use 87mm Gasket for 86mm piston and 88mm for 87mm piston.                      Major Distributor for the 91mm gasket: MAZWORXl 407-281-1223 (Mark)
